Opportunity Reports
*Please take a moment to read through the important information below:
“We believe that mistakes are opportunities to learn.”
As a first grade team, we've decided that we will communicate daily on an as needed basis about your child’s behavior at school. We want to help bridge the gap of communication between home and school. Your child will not receive a note if they have followed all guidelines at school. We will send an opportunity note if your child required redirection or needs follow through at home. Please sign and return the note to school by the next day. Thank you for your support and accountability at home.

IT'S SECRET SANTA TIME AT RBES!
It's Secret Santa Time at RBES!  Each year Oconee County families and businesses join together to provide gifts for those families who are in need during the holidays.  If you can assist with Secret Santa in any way, please complete and return the form sent home with your child.  Or, you can contact Mrs. Porter by calling 706-769-3235 (ext 1117) or through email

JINGLE BELL JUKEBOX; PRESENTED BY OUR 5TH GRADERS

Please take a moment to complete the Georgia Parent Survey!
The first ever Georgia Parent Survey for the 2013-2014 school year is available. It will be open from October 29, 2013- January 31, 2014. The results from the survey will be used by the Georgia Department of Education to calculate a statewide accountability rating called the School Climate Star Rating within the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI). Please visit the following link to participate in this important survey that will be published statewide as a component of the new accountability system.

Calendar Input
RBES families,
The school system is beginning to work on the calendar for the 2014-2015 term.  Your feedback about this year's calendar would be helpful as decisions are made.  If you would like to express what you like most about this year's calendar or something you do not like, you may either email Mrs. Wages (ewages@oconeeschools.org) or answer anonymously online using the web address below sometime this week.  If you want to look again at the current calendar, it is on the back of the agenda book for all 3rd - 5th graders or accessible on the system web page under the calendar link (Year at a Glance view).
