February 17- No School: President's Day/Winter Break

Febuary 18- Make up day from 1/7/14- we do have school! Change of calendar!

Reminders:

Xtra math login information will be coming home in folders on Monday. Please make sure you build this practice into the nightly homework routine. It will help with addition and subtraction fact fluency. We have decided as a first grade team that we would like the students to be able to answer 20 facts in one minute. We will continue to take timed tests weekly. Please finish these for homework each week.

Our Valentine’s party will be on Friday, February 14th  from 1:30-2:15. I will send home a class list soon with everyone's name. I will be notifying you if we need your help and you signed up to volunteer.

It's cold outside! Don't forget to write your name in your child's coat. Please remind them to be responsible by keeping up with all items (hats, scarves, gloves, & jackets).
