Book Fair

Dear Parents,

It is time for the RBES Spring Book Fair!  The dates for this exciting event are March 17-21.  The Book Fair will be open Mon.-Thurs. from 8:00 AM until 2:30 PM, Tuesday night from 5:30-7:30PM and on Fri. from 8:00 AM until 10 AM.  The Book Fair provides you, as parents, an excellent opportunity to purchase great books that your children will love to read.  This is also a wonderful way to help support the RBES Media Center.  All proceeds go directly to the RBES Media Center.

Our class will visit the book fair on Monday, March 17 from 8:30-9:00. We will be the first class to go!

Ice Cream Social

We are in need of ice cream toppings (gummy bears, cherries, whipped cream, sprinkles, crushed cookies, marshmallows...) of any kind.  We are also adding some exciting menu items that we will need help with.  We need pans of brownies (in disposable pans), bananas, straws, spoons, bowls, small Solo cups, large Solo cups. All items can be sent to school ahead of time and brought to Mrs. Cannon's room, room 422, or the front office.  The pans of brownies can be brought Monday, the 17th and Tuesday the 18th.

March 14 is no longer a holiday. This will be a make-up day due to

our week long snow-cation.

MAP Testing= March 10-28

Spring Break= April 7-11

CRCT= April 28-May 2

March 14th is now a school day for all students.  As a result of this schedule change we will not have a conference day.  The first grade team has decided to only have face to face conferences at school if it is necessary.  Please know that we will contact everyone via email to update you on your child's progress in April.  Thank you for your flexibility and understanding.

FIRST GRADE PLAY COMING IN MARCH - WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

The first grade play is right around the corner! Performances are at 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM on Thursday March 13th.  The scenery is coming together but we still need parent volunteers to help with scenery, costumes, etc.  All are welcome.   We will gather in Mrs. Granger's Room.

Thursday, March 6 from 2:45-4:00

A few parents from each 1st grade class will also be needed to assist children to get into costumes prior to the dress rehearsal and each performance.  This will not keep you from seeing the entire performance.  You can email gobraves30606@gmail.com if you are able to assist with this.
