First Grade Musical Play
“Lemonade”
This musical play features fairy tale and nursery rhyme characters who are all having a bad day. However, with the help of Mother Goose they discover how they can learn to make the best of life’s ups and downs by trying to make the best of the situation.
“When the world gives you sunshine, don’t live in the shade-When the world gives you lemons...make lemonade!”
When: Thursday, March 23rd
Performances: 9:00 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Dress Rehearsal- Tuesday, March 21 during the school day
- All first grade students are in the play. Some first grade students from each class will be selected as speakers or dancers in the play. If your child is selected as a speaker or dancer, they must be present for the night performance.
- There will be opportunities for first grade parents to assist with the making of scenery for the stage after school. Scenery work days are:
February 16, 20, 23, 27
March 6,9,13, 16
Scenery work days are from 2:30-4:00 and if you plan to help please meet in the art room.
- Your child will need a white short-sleeve t-shirt and jeans for the play. There will be additional items added to this costume which will be at school.
