Book Character Parade

In support of our DA$H for Excellence and Media Center Makeover, Rocky Branch Elementary School will host a Storybook Character Parade on Thursday, October 10, at 10:00 am.
Students are encouraged to dress up as their favorite story book character.  Each student who participates will walk in the parade.  Students who do not dress up will participate as the audience for the parade. Students may choose any character from a book they enjoy, following the guidelines in this letter.  Students will carry the book with them in the parade.

To support students’ feelings of safety and security in our building, violent or frightening costumes are not acceptable.  No fake blood, weapons or dangerous-looking items will be permitted to accompany a costume.
