Can-A-Thon
Oconee County Schools will sponsor the 2012 Annual Can-A-Thon the from November 3-November 22.  Each school providing food for distribution by ACTS (the Oconee food bank).  ACTS serves almost 600 families in Oconee County. The need for food is GREAT and we can help!

A DA$HING THANK YOU!
A huge "Thank You" to all our Da$h volunteers and to those that donated items.  The students had a great day running laps to raise over $20,000 for our RBES Media Makeover.  Thank you for supporting the school and for your wonderful generosity of time, supplies, and money.  We could not have a  successful fundraiser without the help of our parents.   Our awards ceremony will take place November 1st.  Be on the lookout in the December newsletter issue for an announcement of our winners, thank you to our sponsors, and a few pictures!  Again, thank you parents and RBES family for your support!

REWARDS FOR CLIPPING!
As Coordinator for Box Tops, Labels for Education and Tyson Project A+ Labels at Rocky Branch, I wanted you to know about the reward system we have in place. I collect labels from each classroom on the last school day of each month. The classroom with the most labels collected earns a Popcorn & Capri Sun party along with an award certificate to hang outside their door. The kids get really excited about these parties and it helps make earning money for our school FUN!! Don't forget to turn your labels into your teacher during the last week of each month.
Thank you for ALL your support,
Annie Prenni
